Unable to download files after install. I installed Networx on my laptop and set it up so that it only tracks wifi usage when I am connected to a specific router only. I thought this was a great feature as it allows to only track the usage on my home internet.

But once I set this up, I start having problems download files on IE9. The download would stall after a few seconds. This is especially bad when the download is fast. Also when I watch videos on youtube, the video would randomly stall in the middle.

At first I thought it was a problem with IE9. But after trying all the solutions for fixing IE9 I could find online, the download problem was still there. So I was down to the last thing I haven’t tried yet – uninstalling networx, before I would restore my system from a backup. I didn’t expect it to work. But as soon as I removed networx, I was able to download entire files again. So unfortunately this is a case of a great idea executed badly. Pros: Nice interface and features.
