I do not mind the Windows updates because they are necessary to keep the system running. What I do mind is not being given a choice for a 32 bit system or a 64 bit system. The procedure I wrote for you will install the current version W10 64 bits on your system. Doesn’t that suit you? The question you asked and the method you are describing in order to fix my problem are a few levels above my skillset.

I used to run Windows 7 and followed the update instructions for Windows 10 over a year ago. There were no significant problems some with video and audio cards, but those were resolved. The version has caused some problems to my machine. I continue to receive error messages.
