Microsoft office 2010 not working after windows update free download

I was prompted to install updates. Practically unable to use laptop apart from browsing the internet or use of notepad. Eventually after a number of restarts I was asked to put back the USB Drive for rollback – but rollback was not successful, the machine was hanging at restart forcing a reboot.

It could be my processor is not compatible with the update as Lenovo customer support who advised they cannot assist further provided this link. That was about the usable space available in the laptop – but I backed up and deleted all my personal files. This PC C: Greying out screen and Explorer had to be closed. Same with Excel.

To clarify – I did not have any problem logging in. Earlier when I tried rolling back and was prompted to insert the USB stick which presumably saved recovery data the machine hanged – then I removed the USB stick and rebooted as normal. My main problem is with launching MS Word and Excel.

Further I have backed up all my personal files during trouble shooting and there is no risk of losing any personal data.

With disk cleaning I have gone through this chore before – because during installation of the updates I was given the option to cleanup diskspace – and I selected all the options and deleted all personal files as well.

On one previous occasion even after making the necessary space available on C:Drive installation failed. Actually I just need to make Word and Excel working – is there an option for a clean reninstall with whatrever version that is supported?. There was no backup install media provided. Other MB Mail 4. Try creating space on your computer first. You will need to analyze space on your computer with a file analyzer. You can analyze your existing space with help of third party softwares and remove un-necessary files.
