My new Logic Pro Book is out! If the issue no longer occurs, open Logic Pro preferences and reapply your custom preference settings. Hi maclaw, The last time I had this kind of issue after installing some plugins, I found this tips video, and it worked well for me! Shout out to atlas ! Insert image from URL. Im wondering if I m running out of options, and should maybe just reinstall it? After trying to open it in finder, applications, I hold down the control and shift keys and the icon expands bigger, like 2×2 size for about 2 seconds and then nothing.

Two things to try: 1) Open Logic and immediately hold down Control-Shift to start in AU-safe mode. See if Logic starts? Let us know. I tried downloading my Logic Pro X file onto my new Mac from my external hard drive, however it won’t download completely.

To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question. Asks for password after about a quater of the 2 GB is downloaded. Then next time I start Logic Pro X it starts to download basic content again. Is there a link I can download these new files from? At least, using a 3rd party download manager, I seem to be getting the essential content file on my very slow Internet connection. If Apple could just provide a direct link to this content in the first place, it would help a lot of folks with less than optimal Internet access and save them a lot of frustration and aggravation.

Next select delete all and it will remove Logic Pro X and all files associate with it to the trash. Empty the trash. Next, reinstall from Mac App. Jul 24, PM.
