My Lenovo ThinkPad 2 had the windows 10 icon saying it would be compatible, so i decided to go ahead and try the preview. While it installed fully, basic functions lagged extremely bad, and the experience was unusable. Looking into this issue, it appears that while the processor is over 1 GHz, it isn’t actually powerful enough for windows Is this going to be better when windows 10 officially comes out?

Are you on the Insider Preview build? That is likely to be the issue, considering users aren’t reporting similar problems on other Z devices. No fears, though; I think the stable version of the OS that’s coming out tomorrow should fare much better, and that’s why the Get Windows 10 app is telling you it’s compatible – it’s with the final OS, not the previews. So go ahead, do as Andre suggested and roll back to good old 8. Please do know also that if you have a lot of files stored in your memory, that can slow down your PC as well – that’s the case on my device, which is also the Thinkpad tablet 2.

They are all related to the intel dynamic platform and thermal framework. Seems a driver update is needed from lenovo or intel and neither has this on there sites as of now. In reply to GEP3’s post on August 2, yea downloaded from the media creator on the microsoft website. I have same problems, lack of driver support. Surprised me because my hp products are way older than tpt2. and HP update program update automatically.

Lenovo ID all the other apps are POS. and LENOVO said update isn’t their responsibility. Stop blame Microsoft, do make your Lenovo products work. not asking to buy new yoga3. This site in other languages x.
